Soon after you accept your offer, you will get two emails: one from the Registrar\u2019s Office explaining how to submit your legal documents and another from your faculty telling you how to enrol for courses. For any questions related to enrolment, please contact your\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ulaval.ca\/etudiants-actuels\/etudes\/gestion-des-etudes-en-facultes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">program administration office<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When you arrive, you will need to jump through some mandatory administrative hoops to finalize your admission and enrolment for courses and in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ulaval.ca\/en\/international\/immigration\/enrolling-in-the-health-and-hospitalization-insurance-plan-for-international-students\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">health insurance plan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Uploading your legal documents<\/h3>\n<p>You have to submit your <strong>study permit<\/strong> and your <strong>Certificat d\u2019acceptation du Qu\u00e9bec (CAQ<\/strong> \u2013 Qu\u00e9bec acceptance certificate) to the Registrar\u2019s Office as soon as you arrive. If you don\u2019t complete your file by sending these in, it could have a serious impact on your studies.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/monportail.ulaval.ca\/portail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">monPortail<\/a>, go to \u00ab\u00c9tudes\u00bb (Studies), and submit your study permit and CAQ under the \u00abAdmission\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h2>Exchange students<\/h2>\n<p>Exchange students cannot register through <a href=\"https:\/\/monportail.ulaval.ca\/portail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">monPortail<\/a>. Your faculty will register you for courses a few weeks before they begin. Upon arrival, you must submit your legal documents or proof of entry into Canada using the <a href=\"https:\/\/formulaireweb.ulaval.ca\/reg\/etudiants_en_echange\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">designated form<\/a>. Visit our Web page on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bve.ulaval.ca\/en\/international-students\/prepare-your-stay\/registration-to-your-courses\/registration-via-monportail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">course registration<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<p>Once your arrive in Canada, you will need to provide the following documents:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>A copy of your passport<\/li>\n<li>Depending on your case:\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>A copy of your entry stamp indicating the arrival date<\/li>\n<li>Your plane ticket or boarding pass including the date of your trip<\/li>\n<li>A copy of your study permit, if requiered<\/li>\n<li>A copy of you visitor record<\/li>\n<li>A copy of your CAQ, if requiered<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You cannot submit your documents prior to your arrival.<\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<div style=\"display:none;visibility:hidden\">First step is to go to the Registrar\u2019s Office to present your legal documents. You can go starting on:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>Summer semester: from April 15<\/li>\n<li>Fall semester: from August 15<\/li>\n<li>Winter semester: from December 15<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Check out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reg.ulaval.ca\/cms\/site\/reg\/lang\/fr_CA\/page_accueil\/nsjoindre\/heures\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Registar&#8217;s Office opening hours<\/a> and have a look on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ulaval.ca\/plan-du-campus\/carte-interactive-du-campus.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">interactive campus map<\/a> (French only).<\/p>\n<h4>Submit these documents at the Registrar\u2019s Office<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>Passeport<\/li>\n<li>Qu\u00e9bec Certificate of Acceptance (CAQ) (If you are taking part in an exchange program for more than 6 months)<\/li>\n<li>Study permit (If you are taking part in an exchange program for more than 6 months)<\/li>\n<li>Acceptance letter from Universit\u00e9 Laval<\/li>\n<li>Email you received with the subject &#8220;Avis de r\u00e9ception&#8221; (for exchange students)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You&#8217;ll therefore be assigned to a mandatory <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bve.ulaval.ca\/en\/international-students\/welcoming-services\/orientation-and-information-sessions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">orientation and information session<\/a>.
