Categories and eligibility criteria
A stay abroad is often marked by encounters. Send us a photo of encounters that have been significant during your stay in Québec. Photos in this category must feature people or animals
Trips abroad are filled with discoveries: unforgettable rural and natural landscapes. Submit your best landscape photos in this category.
My stay at UL
Your experience at Université Laval (UL) is an important part of your stay in Québec. Share a photo that illustrates a highlight of your studies or your life here, on the campus. Photos in this category must have been taken on campus or contain a UL symbol.
- For each application, please specify the category.
- Each photo or video must include a title and a brief description (country, location, people, action, etc.).
- Photos must be submitted in JPG format with a minimum resolution of 500 ko.
- Photos must have been taken during your stay in Canada.
- You cannot submit a photo already submitted to the contest a previous year.
- Submit before November 3th, 2019 at 11:59 p.m.
Awards and selection criteria
A jury of three Université Laval employees, one international student and one photograph will select the finalists and winners. For each category, the jury will select 12 photos maximum as finalist.

|$100 for the People’s Choice Award|
|Public vote on Facebook. The voting period will end on November 29th, 2019 at 4 p.m.|
By entering this contest, students give Université Laval their consent to use, whether for advertising purposes or not, their names and photos, regardless of format, through any means or broadcast medium and without any time or territorial restrictions. The material will be used with utmost respect for both the authors and the people appearing in the photos. Contestants must guarantee contest organizers that the photos submitted do not infringe on third party rights.
In the event that a contestant should decide, for a serious and valid reason, to withdraw his or her authorization to broadcast his or her work, he or she must notify the Bureau de la vie étudiante. On reception of this notice, Université Laval commits to no longer broadcasting or authorizing the broadcast of this material.
