Courses registration
Your faculty’s academic advisors will contact you by email at the appropriate time to plan your registration to your courses.
Regular students have to accept their admission offer in order to prepare for the registration of the upcoming semester. Registration can be done in monportail.ulaval.ca or with your faculty’s academic advisors (French only). Learn more about course registration. The moment when you can register to your courses depends on your level of study (cycle) and the number of credits you have completed at Université Laval. Online registration begins:
- Winter 2024 semester: November, 20, 2023
- Summer 2024 semester: March 27, 2024
- Fall 2024 semester: April 8, 2024

For exchange students, Your faculty will register you for courses a few weeks before they begin. Upon arrival, you must submit your legal documents or proof of entry into Canada. For more information or if you plan to arrive after the first day of class and that your presence on campus is normally required by your department, you must take an agreement with your faculty’s academic advisors (French only).
