Québec First is an initiative of Québec International, the economic development agency for Québec City provincial capital region. In partnership with the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI), Québec International offers special activities to help you in your socio-professional integration and permanent settlement in Quebec City.

The “Objectif Intégration” session

The Objectif Intégration session of the Ministère de l’Immigration de la Francisation et de l’Intégration focuses on democratic values and Quebec values as expressed in the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms, cultural codes in employment and the legal framework in the workplace.

It lasts a total of 24 hours and is given in French by several organizations located throughout Quebec, including in Quebec City, Option Travail, the Centre R.I.R.E 2000 and the Centre multiethnique de Québec. Holders of a study permit or a work permit can register and may be eligible to receive financial assistance.
