To get on board, you must show proof of admission, registration or an invitation letter from Université Laval.

Please note that to use this free shuttle, you must be able to carry your own luggage. We do not offer baggage handling services.  Furthermore, we sadly cannot offer this service to student with limited mobility.

To get on board, go in front or the Domestic arrivals (those from Montreal, Toronto, etc.) and stay in the waiting space in front of the luggage conveyor belts A and B. A member of our staff, wearing Université Laval’s colors, will come and get you around 10 minutes before the planned departure time. Boarding is done on the right of the Domestic arrivals exit.

Please note that depending on traffic conditions, we may arrive late, but we will never leave before the planned time.

Transportation from the airport

Upon arrival at the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport, you have the option to take a taxi to get to Université Laval (about $30).

You can also take public transit. The RTC (Réseau de Transport de la Capitale) provides a shuttle service (bus number 78) at a cost of $3.50. Exact change is required.

The service runs only three times daily at the following times: 4:03 p.m., 4:33 p.m., and 5:33 p.m. When you board the bus, ask the driver for a transfer. When you get to the Les Saules terminal, you will have to take another bus (number 804, heading to Sainte-Foy) to get to Université Laval. The entire trip from the airport to the university takes about 40 minutes.
